Photo series

Female family members, mother and three daughters, are photographed at a ten year interval. The first shoot took place in 1998, second in 2008 and third in 2018. All family members currently living in each household are invited to sit together in a double bed located in the master bedroom for a group photo. The series portrays big changes that happen between each photo shoot. Families are ever changing unit, individuals are added to the unit and leave the unit. By documenting every ten years the viewers have the opportunity to perceive the short period of family life, the shortness of life as well as mortality.
