Site specific sculpture made from industrial salt
Visual presentation based on a list displaying the 50 largest companies ranked by allocation in cod equivalents for 2014-2015 from the Icelandic Directorate of Fisheries. Each cone represents a company from the list and the size of the cones corresponds with the amount allocated by the companies. The work is made from industrial salt, from a local fish company and provides an alternative viewpoint to a system for a natural resources owned by the nation, both highly praised and criticised.
